Growing up in the creative industry, Courtney Halverson already started acting in film and television as a teenager. The 28 year old started her blog back in 2011, enhancing her creative work, to share her love for vintage fashion and thrifted outfits. The blog has evolved to a vintage paradise since, covering not only fashion but also travel, home décor and lifestyle.
For me, time means what I'm able to do in a day. We all get the same amount of hours, but what we're able to do with them is what defines us. I like to be productive and get my work done, but if I'm also able to fit in some time for self-care like a bath, an afternoon tea, or some other small indulgence then I really feel like my day is complete.
My latest discovery has been cooking at home. Typically I'm more of a baker, but I've been really into crafting meals from start to finish, and by scratch if I'm able. Lot's of homemade pastas and bakes are in store for me this fall.
My dog, Mops, is an early riser, so she usually sets the pace for the day. I'm up around 6am and out the door with her for her morning walk, always while listening to a podcast in my headphones. After that I come home, have a cup of coffee, and start answering emails for the day. When my husband wakes up, he makes us smoothies for breakfast.
I'm a big fan of Greenwich village, and love how cozy it can feel.
On Sundays I love to do laundry and clean, and get ready for the week. Because my schedules is different every weekday, I really use Sunday as a day to reset and prepare. I don't respond to emails on Sunday, and try to just soak up the last few drops of the weekend.
This may be a cliché, but I would say my wedding day is my best memory. Just the moment that I saw my husband-to-be is really etched into my memory, and it always makes me happy to look back on photos from that day. Surrounded by family and friends, and by my best friend's side.
I'm always on time! I have such a fear of being late that I usually get to places a bit early, and have time to sit in my car and wait until the appropriate time. Being late gives me major anxiety.
I absolutely love the Art Director watch from the September Issue collection. That emerald green shade is so of the moment, and yet very timelessly chic.

Gold, always gold.
I think Tokyo! I've never been and am dying to go - plus I would love to skip the long flight on the way in!
I think something people may not know about me, is that I am a total homebody. My blog and Instagram are filled with travel photos and time spent away from home, but given the chance, I love a quiet evening in my own space.
My grandmother has been a big inspiration in my life. She just was such a loving and kind human, but not without a great sense of humor. We were quite close when I was a kid and a teenager, and she was always a bit of a fiery personality - very sassy. I like to think that I am too, and it's nice to know that it's a family trait.
In five years I hope to see the world, the environment, and mankind in a better place. We're in tumultuous times right now, but I hope we can band together.
For me, time means what I'm able to do in a day.
